A Cure for Wellness

An ambitious young executive (Dane DeHaan) travels to the Swiss Alps to retrieve his boss from a "wellness spa," only to find that his boss has vanished. He is then trapped in the facility, and begins to realize that its staff have a far more wicked plan than to simply improve the health of their patients. While held at the spa, he encounters a young girl named Hannah (Mia Goth), a longtime spa patient who is oblivious about what horrible things the spa director has prepared for her.

As the young man’s sanity is tested, he discovers that he has been diagnosed with the same outlandish illness that keeps all the patients at the spa hoping for a cure.

A Dog's Purpose

Fifty Shades Darker

Christian purchases the publishing company where Ana is working and stops her from going on an overnight business trip with Jack, because Christian knows Jack's history of sexually harassing his assistants. Wanting Ana back in his life, Christian convinces her to give him another chance. After agreeing to her demands for a new arrangement, they begin to build trust and find stability.

However, when Ana meets Elena (Kim Basinger), the woman who seduced Christian when he was 15 years old, she's unhappy that Christian continues to be friends with her. When Elena realizes that Christian has romantic feelings for Ana, she tries to throw a wrench in the young couple's relationship.

Fist Fight

Andy receives sage advice from his loving wife (JoAnna Garcia), the school guidance counselor Holly (Jillian Bell) and Coach Rawlins (Tracy Morgan) for encouragement. Frightened for his life, Andy even ends up calling 911, only to be told that he needs to take his beating like a man.

Gold

He teams up with geologist Michael Acosta (Édgar Ramírez), who's equally unlucky, but despite that, the two men set off to search for gold deep in the uncharted jungles of Indonesia. After initially finding nothing, they soon miraculously discover a gold mine. They start receiving business opportunities, and make over a whopping $30 billion. But many will stop at nothing to have piece of his profit, while Kenny's relationship with longtime girlfriend Kay (Bryce Dallas Howard) is pushed to the breaking point.

Lion

Unable to tell the police exactly where he's from, the little boy is eventually declared an abandoned child. He ends up at the Indian Society for Sponsorship and Adoption, where's he's soon adopted by an Australian couple (Nicole Kidman, David Wenham).

When Saroo grows up and becomes a young man (Dev Patel), he wants to find his biological family and uses Google Earth to help him narrow his search.

Based on the autobiographical book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley.

Manchester by the Sea

When she arrives, she finds out he is a part of a club of college students who pass the scorned spirit Samara's cursed tape between each other. Julia discovers that Holt had watched the tape six and a half days ago, and now they must find a way to save him by the end of the day.

Based on the novel by Kôji Suzuki.

As three teenage girls are waiting in a car to be driven home the morning after a sleepover party, a strange man gets into the driver's seat. His name is Kevin (James McAvoy) — a seriously mentally ill man with 23 personalities. He kidnaps the girls and shuts them away in a locked bunker. They quickly learn he has more than one identity when he shows up dressed as a woman, telling them, "Don't worry. He knows what you're here for. He knows he's not allowed to touch you."

Another of his personalities, Hedwig, says he's nine years old. One of the girls, Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy), realizes the only way they can get out is to convince one of Kevin's alter egos to let them go. She thinks maybe Hedwig will help, but he tells them, "He's done awful things to people and he'll do awful things to you." Hedwig tells them that they're being prepared for "The Beast."

Meanwhile, Kevin's psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), who doesn't know what he's done, believes there is a submerged personality she hasn't yet met who will materialize and dominate all the others.
